In fact, the week spent at The View was nothing short of SPECTACULAR. It is a home away from home with the trappings of luxury, set out in a minimalistic, practical manner in a location that is a little bit of heaven on earth. Suffice to say that all my expectations were greatly surpassed. Everything advertised about this destination is UNDERSTATED. All rooms are tastefully decorated and tidy. The spectacular view is visible from every room. The premises are pristine; cleanliness is of the highest standard.  Large tiled or wooden decks allow for outdoor relaxation. I enjoyed some of the many activities right on the doorstep - deep sea fishing, the ‘Big Seven’ at the Addo Elephant Park and a gentle cruise up the Kowie River. The 'MAGIC’ that sets The View apart from its peers is the very special manner in which the host, Edwin, and the staff combine exceptional hospitality, careful planning and timely, relaxed service. It truly is a Little Bit of Heaven on Earth.
